About SHED Larder

In the tradition of old-fashioned larders, cool areas used for storing food before modern refrigeration, SHED offers a wide selection of quality culinary ingredients for the home cook. Items such as cured meats, artisan cheeses, housemade pickles, preserved fish, and freshly milled grains are all hand-selected and portioned to take away and enjoy any number of ways.

We also offer healthy and delicious prepared foods that can be taken home to serve for dinner, or ordered in advance for special parties. We can pack up picnics for a day in the wine country, or provide tasty food for company lunches and retreats.

  • Holiday Online Order Policy

  • SHED Holiday items are available to order until 5 pm on Thursday, December 20. Once your order is submitted, we will call you to confirm and take payment, in full, within 24 hours of receipt. Orders placed after business hours will be confirmed the following morning. All Holiday orders will be available for pickup on Sunday, December 23 and Monday, December 24. SHED is closed Tuesday, December 25. In the instance of cancellation, a total refund may be granted up to 48 hours prior to pick up. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to pickup will be eligible for a 50% refund.

Platters and Meals

Perfect for an office lunch or dinner party at home, our ample platters include a main offering of roasted chicken, top sirloin, smoked salmon, or farro verde to serve six guests. Side dishes and dessert are also included in this well-rounded meal. Available for six or more guests.

Picnics and Lunches

For a luxurious day in the wine country, we offer a bespoke picnic in a hand-woven ash basket that’s yours to keep. Just ask us about wine pairings – we’re happy to help with your selection! We also offer a variety of fresh sandwiches in a boxed lunch accompanied by a side salad, fruit, and a cookie.

Cheese, Charcuterie, and Preserved Fish

Perfect for a gathering at home or an outdoor event, our Larderer will hand-select artisan cheeses and/or charcuterie, including pâtés, rillettes, terrines, and accompaniments. We also offer preserved fish platters featuring smoked, pickled, and cured delicacies from the sea.

Daily Dinners

Available daily at 4 PM, our dinners change nightly and are ready to reheat at home in an earthenware cazuela to serve from two to four guests. From polpettone on Wednesday to fried chicken on Friday, you’re sure to find something good for dinner.
