Water on the Edge: A Biodynamic Workshop

Presented by Biodynamic farmer Chris Tebbutt of Booneville’s Filligreen Farm, this workshop will explore how water is the key to maintaining the “life dynamics” of Biodynamic farming. Using practical examples from experiments on his farm, Chris will take attendees to the frontiers of water science to explore “the world as a drop.”
This workshop is part of a series presented with Demeter and the Biodynamic Association. Please plan on joining us for the monthly sessions to learn about all aspects of Biodynamic farming.
Chris Tebbutt is a farmer, gardener, and landscape designer. He was raised in East Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, and studied botanical horticulture in the U.K.. He worked as a forestry activist for sustainable forestry practices in the ’80s and ’90s in California before traveling the world to study rare conifer habitat with the International Dendrological Research Institute. Today, Chris farms at Filigreen Farm in Mendocino County, California, home to diverse orchards, vineyards, and gardens. He is dedicated to the study of water as a means to enliven and understand biodynamics.
