Workshop

Spring Floral Intensive with Ariella Chezar

Bring the beauty of flowers into everyday life with master arranger Ariella Chezar in this hands-on afternoon workshop. Whether hosting a party, helping out with a friend’s wedding, or arranging for your dinner table, you will learn how to create dazzling arrangements that go beyond merely pretty and into realms of the dramatic, the unexpected, and sometimes even the magical.  In this four-hour workshop, Ms. Chezar will walk you through the nuts and bolts of creating several small flourishes, tonal arrangements, and bouquets with locally sourced seasonal flowers and branches. Participants will take home their finished arrangements, including vases and flower frogs at the end of the workshop.

With experience designing flowers everywhere from the White House to the FlowerSchool New York, Ms. Chezar will offer advice and philosophy on everything from texture and color to foliage and containers, providing an overall approach to living and working with flowers, with an eye toward fresh, local, wild, seasonally influenced floral design. This afternoon workshop will end with a relaxed wine reception, and is suitable for all levels.
