Organic Certification Workshop

Join CCOF and the Farmers Guild for a multi-level field day on what it takes to go organic. The workshop will help assess how close your operation is to being organic and will detail the steps necessary to transition towards certification. You will come away understanding the tenets of organic certification.

The morning session of this workshop will be held at SHED, where CCOF staff will review the rules and regulations of organic certification. It will also include a panel of successful organic growers from Preston of Dry Creek and Quarter Acre Farm. In the afternoon, participants will tour Bernier Farms, an organic fruit and vegetable farm. With a particular focus on Healdsburg,  this workshop will focus on mixed vegetables, wine grapes, and olives.
