Create a Bee-Friendly Garden
In this workshop, learn how to create an abundant home garden that has the power to encourage pollinator diversity and help revive the health of bees.
Author and garden designer Kate Frey will lead the workshop on how to plant a bee-friendly garden that supports pollinator populations while delighting with color and beauty. She will discuss the resources necessary for bees and give many vibrant examples of how to create gardens that support them.
Kate Frey is an international garden designer, consultant, and writer specializing in ecological gardens and small farms. She won two gold medals for gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show in London and has worked in diverse places such as Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Japan.
Her book Bee-Friendly Gardens, cowritten with Professor Gretchen LeBuhn, will be available for purchase and signing following the talk.
