In this presentation and tasting, Simran will discuss her research through every part of the food system – from soil to seed to pollinator and from plant to fish to animal, and discuss how the last century has brought the most dramatic shifts ever experienced in food and agriculture.
The presentation will include a discussion and tasting of a particularly rare grape varietal – Trosseau Gris – along with Russian River Valley grapegrower Peter Fanucchi, and Caleb Taft, wine director at Arlequin in San Francisco.
