Art and Agriculture

SHED and the 428collective are launching their second CSA seasons, and new members are encouraged to come join the local food and arts movement by signing up for subscriptions at the launch party.

The SHED CSA is a creative and fun monthly subscription of local produce, housemade treats, and seasonal pantry items hand-selected for members each month. Each month’s crate features seasonal produce, recipes, and a special item prepared by the SHED kitchen.

The 428collective’s art CSA is a quarterly subscription featuring the work of 11 contemporary female artists who live and work in Sonoma County. Their CSA subscribers will receive a new art piece every three months (totaling four works per year). Each piece will be a collaborative project by two or more 428collective artists, and will reflect diverse media including film, performance, installation, sculpture, publications, painting, drawing and sound.

The 428collective’s 2015 season will feature the theme of food and agriculture, and SHED’s 2015 season will be an edible and beautiful tribute to the seasons and our local food. Come see the art, meet the artists, and learn more about the SHED and 428collective’s CSAs as they launch their 2015 year.The first 10 people to subscribe at the party will receive a surprise art piece!
