Our calendar includes a variety of occasions intended to revive the tradition and conviviality of the old grange halls: Sunday suppers, films, music, readings, cultural and social events.

    Soba Making Workshop

    2014-10-05  2pm – 5pm  Grange  

    Learn how to make delicious fresh soba noodles with Sonoko Sakai, a Japanese home cooking instructor and founder of Common Grains, who will lead a hands-on workshop on traditional Nihachi style soba. The class will prepare and then taste the soba, both hot and cold, in a simple Japanese meal service including appetizer and dessert.

    Join us as we remember jazz legend Charlie Haden in a special free community event at SHED. Come for dinner and stay for the show. We'll be showing the biopic about Charlie, Rambling Boy, in the Grange at 7pm, and follow the screening with a discussion about Charlie with his friends and family.
