Taste of Place with Bucklin Old Hill Ranch

Get a taste of California’s viticultural history with wines made from Sonoma County’s oldest vineyard, Old Hill Ranch, and a four-course dinner by Chef Perry Hoffman at our May Taste of Place dinner. Winemaker Will Bucklin makes dry-farmed field-blend Zinfandel from the interplanted Glen Ellen vineyard that was selected in the 1870’s for grapes of superior flavor and continuously planted ever since. Get a true Taste of Place as you immerse yourself in the history of California winemaking for a very special evening at SHED.

Taste of Place is a unique dining series that explores food and wine wines through the terroir, history, and philosophy of the local growers and makers who inspire us. Gather with us to enjoy chef Perry Hoffman’s thoughtfully designed four-course menu, one that represents a unique collaboration between winemaker and chef. Each Taste of Place dinner is designed to awaken the palate—and stimulate the mind—in a new way. We aim to entice and provoke while creating fond memories of sharing the table together.
