The Art and Craft of Apiculture: A Biodynamic Workshop

HoneyBees at SHED

Bee expert Michael Thiele of Gaia Bees launches the 2017 Biodynamic Workshop Series at SHED. Michael’s Biodynamic approach to honeybees is centered around the essentials of nest integrity and the understanding of the hive as a singular, sentient being. In this workshop, accessible for anyone interested in the health of bees no matter their experience, Michael will discuss the unique matrix of the life of honeybees and examine how a Biodynamic approach can integrate core life principles into our relationship with honeybees and into our apiaries.  Michael will introduce new innovative ways within the Biodynamic field such as ‘Apis Arboreal’, the vision of a ‘Landscape Apiarium’, and non-allopathic approaches to health.

Please RSVP to ensure a seat for this unique event.
